According to the American Heart Association, AED's ( Automated External Defibrillators) increase the survival rate of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) or sudden cardiac death (SCD) about 70% if used within 7-8 minutes of occurrence. The Powerheart AED G3 Plus is the flagship Cardiac Science AED (automated external defibrillator), complete with RescueCoach and CPR metronome to pace chest compressions. The AED G3 Plus is Rescue Ready in an emergency.
